PACEM is developing projects that appeal to audiences in both China and the United States, as well as internationally.

Our first China-focused project, BUILDING CHINA MODERN, features the renowned architect I.M. Pei returning to his ancestral home of Suzhou, China to design a new museum. Future projects, developed in collaboration with the China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC), will be based on the BUILDING CHINA MODERN production model.

PACEM’s China-focused projects will be:

  • broadcast over U.S. and Chinese television with the advertising messages of sponsors prominently displayed at the beginning and end of broadcasts in both countries

  • presented with companion books written in both Chinese and English and published in both countries

  • developed with extensive educational outreach packages for both China and the U.S. Educational outreach can include:

    • teachers’ guides and student study guides
       (designed for the curricula of both secondary
       and higher educational institutions)

    • general viewers’ guides

    • interactive website with extensive additional
       information
